Viva Decor Halloween Mask
By Carol Heppner

Looking to enhance your Halloween costume? Don’t want to “dress up” for Halloween but still want to wear something festive? Create this easy-to-make Halloween Mask that will capture everyone’s attention.
Many craft stores have paper or foam masks for you to decorate or you can find a free pattern online and download it. Decorating your mask will be fun and easy with Viva Decor products. It will be beautiful as well.
Instructions
Glue the black scrapbook paper to the left half of the white paper mask and let the glue dry. If necessary, place the glued area between waxed paper and place a heavy book down on the top of the waxed paper until the glue dries.
Using the craft knife, trim the excess black paper from the mask, make sure to also cut away the black paper from the eye area.
Place the Paisley background stencil over the black-paper side of the mask and then place the scrap paper over the white paper side to protect the white side. Use the pallet knife to apply the white embossing cream over the Paisley background stencil. Remove the stencil. Remove the scrap paper from the mask and then place the Springtime stencil over the white area of the mask. Apply the gold embossing cream over the Springtime stencil and then remove the stencil from the mask. Let the stencil cream dry completely.
If not already done, place a hole in each side of the mask for the ribbons. Use an eyelet setting kit to place a copper eyelet in each hole on the side of the mask.
Use the Contour Copper Glass Effect Gel Pen to draw a line between the black and white papers on the mask. Create tiny beads on each side of the copper line. Use the Blue Perlen Pen to apply little beads on the black paper side of the mask. Create tiny beads over the entire mask using the Amber, Contour Copper, Blackberry Glass Effect Gel Pens and the Peridot Light Green Glitter Liner. Let the beads dry.
Thread the ribbons through the copper eyelets.
To wear, place the mask on your face and tie the ribbons at the back of your head.
Note: It’s a good idea to wash the stencils right after using them. Place them on a towel to air dry.
